    Job Description

    The Workstead Sales & Client Services Coordinator will play a key role in supporting brand growth for our products collection working collaboratively with the team in Hudson, NY (or remote in NYC). The qualified candidate is a highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage the needs of the Sales team’s existing partners and new business initiatives. This role contributes to the success of our Sales team by prospecting new partners and development channels while researching opportunities for brand expansion and diversification. The ideal candidate possesses clear and effective communication skills, an enthusiasm to contribute creatively, a keen attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and CRM programs.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support a team of Sales, Client Services, & Operations associates to achieve critical monthly, quarterly and annual sales and fulfillment objectives.

    • Field inbound inquiries across our lighting collections offering exceptional sales/customer service support to our partners.

    • Process standard quotes and order entry.

    • Partner with Sales Operations and our manufacturing partner for project status tracking, fulfillment updates, and problem-solving.

    • Strategically develop, build, and execute initiatives to pursue key new Trade Client relationships.

    • Track all daily activity in CRM for successful partner and communication maintenance.

    • Manage the packaging and distribution of brand collateral for Sales and Marketing to support brand growth.

    • Work collaboratively across Product Development, Production, and Marketing, to ensure Sales needs are fully coordinated for successful collection launches.

    • Handle oversight of Hudson showroom for client visits and brand events. Produce occasional NYC-based product launches.

    • Review opportunities and project workload with Managing Director weekly to ensure effective progress toward company growth goals.

    • Nurture a healthy, positive, and supportive work environment.

    • Proudly represent the company and tell its story.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree and suggested two+ years of experience in Sales, Customer Service, or architecture / interior design industries.

    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, aptitude for working with many people, and ability to deal with a rapidly shifting workload.

    • Proactive, professional, positive attitude, and the diplomatic ability to work collaboratively.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Microsoft Excel and Adobe Suite skills required.

    • Experience in CRM and Sales Processing Software a plus.
