We are looking for an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to General Accounting Department employees . YOUR SPECIFIC DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Contributes to the verification and documentation of all invoices. Ensures invoices have the required approval and documentation before payment is processed.
- Contributes to the accounts payable process ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely manner.
- Contributes to the printing and distribution of accounts payable checks according to Company policy.
- Contributes to maintaining the accuracy of vendor information in appropriate accounts payable files, software programs and intranet files.
- Contributes to verifying and maintaining the accuracy of 1099 filings.
- Maintains accounts payable files, including the filing of accounts payable documentation and other miscellaneous filings.
- Contributes to the creation of various department documents, reports and records.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION INCLUDE :
- 1-2 Years Accounts Payable experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
