We are looking for a UNDERWRITING MANAGER responsible for Overseeing the daily operations and management of Underwriting, Processing, and Transaction Coordination staff.. YOUR SPECIFIC DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

•  Manages the workflow/processing of new and existing mortgage applications ensuring expectations and delivery timelines are met and provide additional support when needed.
• Monitors the department and individual underwriting and processing times, ensuring that stated objectives are met.
• Conducts research, using risk assessment and financial modeling to make high-level decisions for requested loans.
•  Develops underwriting standards, operational plans, and employee trainings methods to maintain in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures and associated regulatory requirements.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION INCLUDE:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FNMA/FHLMC Underwriting and Loan Processing
• Minimum of 2-year supervisory experience is required.
• Experience in the preparation and analysis of reports, analysis of appraisal reports and analysis of personal and corporate tax returns is required. 
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business or a related field is required.  Two years of equivalent experience can substitute for every one-year of education.
