    The Company

Workweek is a modern media company on a mission to entertain, educate, and connect the business world through unique personalities, unparalleled expertise, and innovative operations.

Workweek boasts a roster of nearly 20 creators and growing. Each of these creators is an expert in their respective industry, covering topics from Fintech to sales to healthcare… even culture and memes. Workweek creators produce a variety of content via newsletters, podcasts, and social media channels in order to build a community of learners within those industries.

Simply put, we’re on a mission to make work fun.

    The Role

To reach each of these unique communities, we’re looking for a Growth Marketing Copywriter. This person will spend time becoming intimately familiar with each creator and their community to better understand the larger industry. By learning about the professionals, their pain points, and the workplace cultures they inhabit, a Growth Marketing Copywriter will be able to speak directly to these communities. In turn, they will produce copy for each creator’s paid acquisition ads, landing pages, and sponsored newsletter ads for external brand partners.

A great candidate has written ad copy and landing page copy for various products that can convert. They love variety in their work, are both open to and able to take action on feedback, and can run with projects without heavy supervision. The ideal candidate for this role is early in their marketing career, might have some experience working on a Marketing team (either as part of your day-to-day job, or on the side), and aspires to become a domain expert in copywriting one day while accomplishing our mission — and wants to have a lot of fun doing it.

Note: This is a full-time position. You'll always be able to work remotely wherever you want, but we have offices in Austin, TX and New York, NY if you’d like to work IRL. All work will be done in English.

    • Proactively research target customer behavior and audience trends to identify new opportunities
    • Monitor industry and competitor trends to inform strategy
