    RESPONSIBILITIESINCLUDE

    ·       Trackingand reporting on a variety of legal matters, including communicating openitems, deadlines, status, and ad hoc reporting as required.

    ·      Investigating factual issues utilizing internal and external resourcesto gather information and present findings in logical format.

    ·       Facilitatingcommunications with employees, vendors, tenants, outside counsel and otherstakeholders as directed by counsel.

    ·       Assistingwith HR administration including maintaining and ensuring safekeeping of confidentialpersonnel records, on-boarding and exit documentation, benefits processing andother HR duties.

    ·       Coordinatingdeal closings including organizing and managing deal folders, obtainingappropriate approvals, facilitating closing day execution, trackingpost-closing deliverables.

    ·       Preparingstandard contracts based on prepared forms, including confidentiality andnon-compete agreements, lease amendments, etc.

    ·       Maintainingrecords for corporate entities including, filing certificates of formation,dissolution, EINs, and other organizational and related documents.

    ·       Providingadditional support to company's legal team as needed.

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    ·       Optimisticattitude with can-do mentality

    ·       Minimum5+years paralegal or legal assistant experience at a law firm orin-house legaldepartment

    ·       Preferredprior transaction and litigation experience, real estate experience a plus

    ·       Confidentialityand sound discretion a must

    ·       Expertproficiency with MS Office required

    ·       Familiaritywith Westlaw, PACER, ECF and state court filing systems a plus

    ·       Excellentorganizational skills and results driven

    ·       Abilityto work as a team or independently as needed
