The World Equestrian Center located in Wilmington, OH is seeking an Arena Associate I to support our operations in grounds maintenance. Position is outdoors so candidates must be able to come to work and produce results regardless of outdoor weather conditions. Additionally, the job requires a great deal of often strenuous physical activity therefore applicants should have the ability to meet these requirements. Weekend availability is a must.

Our compensation package includes an $10.00 hourly wage(commensurate with experience and skills), dining and travel discounts, special offers from our business partners, and discount programs for selected cell phone providers.

New hires in this position will receive $500 sign on bonus:

Applicant must not have been employed by CHM previously in the past 12 months or worked at a Columbus Hospitality Management property through a temp agency or related program in the past 12 months.

$250 paid after 30 days of successful employment.

$250 paid after 90 days of successful employment.

All bonuses contingent upon perfect attendance and adherence to company policy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance of the grounds of the arena.

Clean stalls and other grounds areas.

Trash collection and sweeping.

Responsible for Bedding delivery.

Responsible for Lawn Care

responsible for Snow Removal

Completion of Special event set up and tear down.

Dragging and watering arenas.

Other duties as assigned by Management.

Required Skills:

Candidate must have excellent customer service skills.

Ability to lift up to lift, bend, twist and stand for long periods of time.

Ability to use equipment such as forklifts, tractor etc. for maintenance of the grounds.

Required Experience:

Experience running a forklift and tractors is highly preferred.

License for use of forklifts and tractors is highly preferred.

Experience on a farm or similar location is highly preferred.
