  • Responsibilities

    The Interior Designer will undertake a variety of interior planning functions in the upscale to luxury hospitality, residential and commercial projects for all brands. Candidate will work in full lifecycle of design and construction from conceptual development, specification and vendor selection, construction coordination, through installation.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Undertake design project from concept to completion.
    • Define project requirements and schedules.
    • Interpret and translate ownership needs into rough plans and designs.
    • Set costs and project fees according to budget.
    • Research and decide on materials and products sourcing.
    • Generate design layouts in CAD.
    • Work closely in coordination with other designers, architects, and contractors.
    • Conduct field verifications and contractor site visits.
    • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices.

    Physical Requirements :

    • Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

    Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities

    • High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
    • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
    • Proven working experience in design of interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions).
    • 3-5 years of experience as Junior level or higher with like size projects, budgets and industries
    • Auto-CAD experience required.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
    • Excellent portfolio of previous works.
    • Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for design.
    • Communication and presentation skills.
    • Project management skills.
    • BS degree in Interior Design or similar.
