Gym Sales Manager

World Gym Smyrna/Vinings is currently seeking a qualified Sales Manager to drive success in our Sales Department. World Gym Smyrna/Vinings has been voted Best Club in Atlanta, Best in Smyrna. World Gym is a nationally and internationally recognized brand. As Sales Manager, you will utilize your ability to coach, teach, develop and provide strong leadership, direction, and supervision to the sales team. This includes all aspects of sales including: obtaining and generating leads, qualifying leads, enrolling new members and following up, represent the Club in community awareness and organizations, coordinating activities and maintaining positive points of contact with local corporate sources (i.e. Corporate presentations, Corporate Sales, Health Fairs, Lunch and Learn seminars, networking groups, off site sales, nonprofit events, in house promotions, etc.) . The Sales Manager position will be responsible for the Sales Department business plans to help deliver results at or above company expectation in member acquisition & retention. Personality, people skills, and a proven track record a must.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate personal sales leadership and success by achieving and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly acquisition and retention goals through persistent and enthusiastic outreach
Meet daily with Member Engagement Advisors one-on-one to review weekly and monthly sales and unit goals, assess individual performance, and review individual business plans
Coach member consultants through role-playing and shadowing club tours, giving them tools to improve and develop stronger sales and customer service skills; assure compliance with all club and departmental standard operating procedures
Monitor revenue and unit totals daily, provide GM with reported information, and ensure Member Consultants are achieving or exceeding individual and team goals
Leverage company marketing strategy to initiate, develop and grow relationships with new and current members
Actively recruit top talent through partnerships and prospecting to continuously grow your team of advisors
