01 THE JOB You’re a program management professional with a talent for marketing who’s aspiring to use your gifts and talents to make a positive impact on the world by eradicating poverty and transforming the lives of children, families and communities. Join World Vision USA as a Program Manager working alongside our Fundraising Events and Experience Team as together we inspire more donors to positively impact the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children through fundraising programs such as Matthew 25 and Chosen. The stakes are high and our call to action is urgent. Nearly 1,000 children under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and improper hygiene. But we believe extreme global poverty and the global water and sanitation crisis can be solved within our lifetimes. And your expertise added to our team will be a difference maker.

As Program Manager you’ll be part of a 20-person team reporting directly to the Sr. Fundraising Program Manager and collaborating closely with 2 peers because we know the cord of work is stronger when we combine our talents and work together. You’ll be called on to implement and continuously improve these key programs from a marketing and programmatic excellence perspective, so our church engagement reps are always optimally equipped and positioned to acquire new church partners and donors, calling them into the life-changing experience of serving children and their communities in the developing world in the name of Jesus.

You’ll execute on all the phases of program and event planning including logistics, communication, integration, and optimization across the team and with church partners. You’ll help lead out on our marketing of these programs in relation to church and donor experience. No one person or team is an island, so you’ll work with a cross-section of internal stakeholders in areas like digital, segment and product marketing, innovation, promotions, creative, and operations to secure buy-in, ensure successful program roll out, and increase overall participation and fundraising. Matthew 25 is a week-long text message experience for churches with daily challenges that lend to deeper understanding of those in greatest need around the world. Chosen is our newest ministry program that introduces a powerful new way to invite donors into making a life-changing connection with a child, where the power to choose a sponsor is in a child’s hands. The work all comes together and starts to make impact at events at various weekend church services and other fundraising events throughout the US or internationally. Some seasons will be busier than others but travel on average will require 1 trip per month that runs 3-5 days in duration.

As Program Manager, you’ll be a vital link in helping our team and the larger organization fulfill our funding commitments to the field with respect to our international relief and development work underway in nearly 100 countries around the world. The successful Program Manager will have a desire to build into and support the next generation of church leaders and globally-minded citizens by serving as a catalyst for introducing fresh perspectives, narratives, creativity, as well as have a gift for raising up and cultivating pioneering spirits that overcome the enemy of apathy and join the fight to solve poverty. At World Vision we have a God-sized dream to see multitudes of new children affected by poverty become sponsored by donors and for those children and their communities to experience the fullness of life that God intends for them. Do you share in this dream with us and so many others? We hope so. Reach out and let us know.
