    Role: Warehouse Specialist, Fife Warehouse

    Required experience: High School/GED or equivalent. Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse experience required. Forklift certification preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate a sit-down and stand-up forklift.

    Schedule : 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. May require evenings and Saturday mornings, on occasion.

    Salary: The full salary range for this role is $17.76 - $25.00/hour. Applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. Typical hiring range is $19.50 - $22.00/hour. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.     02 The Job

    We are looking for a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, tag, put away, and pull product; sort, retrieve, and stock warehouse product. The Warehouse Specialist will prepare product for shipment, assist in managing inventory, and perform related clerical duties. The Warehouse Specialist will help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies, and personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word, and sign.

    Responsibilities Include:

    1. Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
    2. Prepare warehouse orders for both in-house and outside domestic and/or international shipping to ensure timely and accurate delivery. 1. May be responsible to provide oversight when volunteers are used to sort, label or stock GIK product.
    3. Receive and process incoming deliveries.
    4. Make routine deliveries and pick-ups.
    5. Complete and maintain appropriate documentation and databases. Perform data entry and adjustments to ensure accurate inventory management.
    6. Store, retrieve, and stock inventory by using standard warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and sit-down and stand-up fork-lifts.
    7. Help maintain a safe and efficient work environment and equipment, including maintenance of equipment, safety checks and safety training of volunteers and temps.
    8. Work with senior warehouse staff and/or leadership to implement process improvement projects as needed.
    9. May participate in or lead safety committee.
    10. Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
    11. Perform other duties as assigned.
    12. Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

    03 Required Experience
