    Salary: The full salary range for job level 225 is $75,500 - $119,000. This salary range applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area.     02 ****The Job We are seeking a Site Manager to direct and manage the World Vision U.S. Chicago warehouse/distribution facility, using superior planning and organization skills to ensure overall site activities are in strong compliance and alignment with WVUS policies, procedures, and goals. In this role, the Site Manager will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of Gift-in-Kind (GIK) products through World Vision's global supply chain from donor to vulnerable children, both domestically and internationally. The Site Manager will enthusiastically engage with community partners in the Chicagoland area, including local community leaders, pastors, school officials, and donor groups, while driving awareness of World Vision's programs. The Site Manager will lead initiatives with the Media team to showcase World Vision’s community-based work through media outlets and social media platforms. The Site Manager will also lead the strategy to grow the local community volunteer base while ensuring operational site needs are accomplished. Additionally, the Site Manager will personify the ministry of World Vision by carrying out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. In doing so, we bear witness to Christ and minister to others through life, deed, word, and sign.

    Responsibilities Include:

    1. Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
    2. Collaborate with local and headquarter-based staff to ensure that the site supports World Vision's emphasis on partnering with individual donors, community groups, corporate teams, and churches in our ministry.
    3. Manage a warehouse/distribution center equipped for the proper receipt, storage, and distribution of GIK products to ministry partners. 1. Ensure efficient and effective work processes throughout the facility utilizing Lean principles for process improvement as needed to reduce waste and expense.
    4. Develop and manage the warehouse/distribution center's budget, policies, and procedures.
    5. Ensure the inventory control system is managed with the proper tracking of GIK inventory throughout the site and timely distribution to World Vision's ministry partners.
    6. Work in a collaborative spirit with community leaders such as pastors, bishops, superintendents, principals, and local elected officials.
    7. Maintain a safety program for all paid staff and volunteers, ensuring that all required safety measures are in place and that staff and volunteers adhere to these guidelines.
    8. Represent World Vision's global/local work at community events, and to news outlets and social media opportunities.
    9. Guide and oversee the local volunteer program in compliance with World Vision U.S.' policies and procedures.
    10. Arrange and provide facility tours for corporate and church groups visiting the site.
    11. Hire, fire, train, counsel evaluate, and recommend salary increases and promotions for those under direct supervision.
    12. Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
    13. Perform other duties as assigned.
    14. Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.
