    World Vision is hiring a Sr. Technical Advisor (STA) Social Behavior Change (SBC) to serve on the Program Quality and Impact Division of the International Programs Group.

    Travel: Up to 25% of the time, both in development and fragile contexts.

    Salary Range: $95,000 - $156,000. Applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. Please note the typical hiring range is $100,000 - $125,000 a year. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity. This range applies to many major U.S. cities.     The Job:

    World Vision is implementing a 4 year RAISE 4 Sahel (R4S) project in the Sahel region. This Gavi funded project seeks to work with partners in the humanitarian space to reach zero-dose children and missed communities in the fragile settings, which include areas plagued by conflict, across the Sahel.

    R4S' Senior Technical Advisor (STA) for Social Behavior Change reports to the Chief of Party (CoP) and collaborates with other technical staff, partners, and countries implementing Gavi-funded immunization programs to ensure high-quality assessments are conducted and behavior change learnings are achieved. In addition, the STA is responsible for the Social and Behavior Change strategy and for ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency of SBC program implementation. S/he will oversee the program’s data management, capacity building, and collaborations with all partners including implementing R4S country Field Teams.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role
    • Serve as the lead technical advisor for SBC in immunization and primary health care
    • Participate in the technical oversight of SBC activities, including standard setting, tools development, capacity building, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning
    • Provide operational framework, strategies, and mechanisms for programming with the field to drive quality results
    • Review and provide sectoral feedback on programmatic reports
    • Provide sector-specific technical guidance on promising practices, new developments, and lessons learned for programming
    • Support the development and dissemination of evidence and best practices
    • Conduct country visits to monitor progress and quality of SBC activity implementation
    • Engage key SBC stakeholders (e.g., UNICEF, Technical Working Groups) at the country level to ensure program alignment, project representation and collaborative learning
    • Serve as a focal point to the demand Hub and IA2030 demand generation activities
    • Participate in sector-related global/regional networks and working groups
    • Build WV’s reputation in the field by presenting at sector conferences and workshops
    • Represent WVUS to external agencies, international organizations and donors
    • Foster organizational learning to promote technical excellence
    • Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Chief of Party
    • Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities.
    • Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

    Education and Experience:

    Master's degree required. Doctoral level preferred. International relevant technical experience, related professional experience, or research institution experience required; 6 years. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in a French language preferred. Must be able to establish strong relationships cross culturally.

    Additional Skills We Are Interested In:

    Proven work experience securing and/or managing significant funding from institutional donors. Deep technical knowledge in one sector is required. Previous experience in SBC in immunization uptake, MNCH, health care seeking behaviors, and reaching vulnerable populations is preferred.

    Salary Range & Benefits:

    • The full range for this position is $95,000 - $156,000. This applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location.
