World Vision is hiring a PROJECT MANAGER to serve on IPG Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs (HEA).
AT A GLANCE
ROLE: Project Manager, Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs
LOCATION: Washington, D.C. or Federal Way, WA, USA; remote possible.
REPORTS TO: Senior Director of HEA
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 3-5 years of work experience in project management and international programs work. Work experience must include at least one year of previous project leadership experience.
WORK AUTHORIZATION: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
TRAVEL: Up to 20% of the time both in development and fragile contexts.
THE JOB:
World Vision is looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to support the HEA team’s overall portfolio of U.S. government and UN grants and privately funded projects. The Project Manager will work across all aspects of the HEA’s mission, taking on team-level initiatives around both project management and resource acquisition. The Project Manager may participate in the completion of divisional or corporate-wide projects, overseeing the work of project teams and providing expertise regarding specific sectors as needed. They will help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies, and personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word, and sign.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 1-5 years of work experience in project management and international programs work. Experience working with Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs a plus. Work experience must include at least one year of previous project leadership experience.
