WORLD'S BEST CHEESES is one of America's leading importers. We distribute over 4,000 gourmet items to over 3,000 specialty stores. From our headquarters in Armonk NY, we have a fleet of trucks that cover most of the Eastern Seaboard. In addition, we have an operation in California. We are more than WORLD's BEST in name. We have won more "FOOD OSCARS" from the Specialty Food Association (the industry's trade group) than any other company. We have imported cheeses from over 50 countries, (in which we represent the top companies.) Besides ocean shipments, we are the #1 company with air imports. Currently, we are looking for a well-organized Administrative Assistant. The job consists of multitasking responsibilities… answering phones, assisting the A/R and A/P Departments, invoicing, billing, and other administrative work such as data entry, filing, running errands, etc. Our ideal candidate: Is punctual and reliable Is accurate and pays attention to detail Is computer literate and fast Is friendly and enthusiastic Is well organized Working hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay is $20.00 per hour with PLENTY OF OVERTIME, which is paid after 40 hours. There are a full range of benefits including SINGLE MEDICAL (80% PAID BY WB CHEESE). We also have holidays, personal days, vacation days, a 401K plan, and bonuses. We are located in a modern office park in Armonk. Please note that public transportation is limited in the area.
