    Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company is searching for a talented Security Analyst.  Under Government oversight, the Security Analyst will serve as an on-site support contractor for the Product Office for Tactical Space Superiority. Process a variety of security-related forms for incoming and outgoing personnel assigned or attached to the activity. Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of classified and sensitive materials. Assists in coordinating, reviewing, processing, and reporting required information for personnel security investigation (PSI) and adjudications in accordance with DoD/DA regulations. Processes/submits annual Personnel Security Questionnaires and any special security requirements for all assigned personnel. Monitors dates of security clearance investigations for briefed personnel. Prepares, processes, and maintains personnel security packages for Special Access Programs, presents Program Security Awareness Training and Education briefings. Creates and maintains Personnel Information Files. Manages administrative security requirements and assist the Program PSO in managing local record files perform a regulatory review to provide the necessary data for the PSO to issue Access to Program. Based on the requirements, established eligibilities, and review of investigation results recommend granting or denial of access to Program information for identified individuals to the PSO for the final decision. Coordinates with Manager and PSO to ensure Incident Reporting (SIR) is completed. Conducts security training for all personnel. Reviews requests for Program Access Requests (PARs) and processes actions for final disposition. Verifies security clearance status for meetings, conferences, and activities. Assists PSO with implementation of requirements under the information security, communication security, security awareness, education and training programs to include the safeguarding and handling of classified information and the secure operations of computer systems in accordance with Army regulations. Reviews classified information for appropriate marking and storage, changes combinations, and maintains formal accountability records. Assists with inspections and surveys under the communication and information security programs. Conducts briefings and assist in the controlling of visitor ingress/egress, escorting visitors and interfacing with senior level government and corporate officials and their staffs. Verify visitor clearances, coordinate conference room meetings, brief visitors to security requirements of facility, and perform general administrative duties as required.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS       

    • Familiarity with special access and sensitive compartmented security
    • Experience in managing security operations
    • Experience in managing the personnel security paperwork and review process
    • Proficiency in automated security tools, including DISS & JADE
    • Experience with security for operating a classified facility for secure DoD data processing projects

    Required Skills

    • Active TS/SCI Clearance

    Required Experience

    • 10 years’ experience in working in the role of Security Specialist as a defense contractor or civil service required
