    POSITION PROFILE

    To procure parts and material required to support new Textile introduction and replenishment samples

     

    MANAGEMENT BY OBJECTIVES (MBO’S)

    Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager to develop plan supporting all goals of the department and organization including, but not limited to:

    • Economical Cost
    • 1st Quality Goods and Service
    • Customer Satisfaction

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Issue Purchase Orders and delivery schedules to vendors and Fulfillment centers
    • Strategize planning of parts and material to support new product launches
    • Follow up with supplier to ensure their delivery performance meets the new fabric introduction schedule
    • Work with suppliers, design, and marketing on print proof approvals for new product launches
    • Coordinate with vendor schedules for textile introduction and replenishment so that samples are complete and on-time for distribution to the field
    • Coordinate new introduction samples to the field and sample centers
    • Review and coordinate weekly and daily Fulfillment center activities
    • Compare sample yardage against color master
    • Understand textile test methods/results and fabric performance to assure that proper information is printed on the sample tickets
    • Review and Evaluate reorder reports from Fulfillment Center
    • Order sample yardage for vendors and Fulfillment Center
    • Liaison between Fulfillment Center and the field
    • Manage special projects as directed by Marketing or Management
    • Compile and summarize monthly reports for management
    • Set up new shopping cart users with Fulfillment Center

    Required Experience

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • High School Diploma required, BS/BA preferred

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • 3-5 Years in materials, purchasing or customer service
