• 2nd (3:30 pm - 12:00 am)
• 3rd (10:30 pm – 7:00 am)

Ali Industries has an immediate opening for a Material Handler at its Fairborn, OH facility. The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently, accurately, and safely processing customer orders. This is done in accordance with specifications on pick tickets, and by verifying and maintaining documentation on incoming and outgoing shipments.

JOB DUTIES:

• Picking, packing, and processing orders accurately.
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse power equipment.
• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
• Operating departmental computers within an order-processing function.
• Actively participating in Quality Improvement Process.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area throughout the warehouse and shipping areas.

Required Skills Required Experience

• Related experience in an equivalent role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conform to specific customer requirements and process paperwork.
• Warehouse power equipment experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly for extended periods.

Prior Ramp and Warehouse Experience required

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole

numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, percent and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Work in a high noise level environment.

Work with minimal supervision.

Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.

Ability to handle stress.

Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds.

Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
