JOB SUMMARY

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 7AM-4PM

This position is a technical track position responsible for ensuring proper maintenance of the Autostore inventory system.  Person(s) in this position possess specific training related to the technical functionality of the Autostore robots, components, workstations, and grid.  This position is also responsible for supporting the Autostore Operations Supervisor in executing his daily responsibilities related to Autostore output.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and resolve all Autostore maintained issues as they arise

• Perform all necessary preventative maintenance at the appropriate intervals

• Act as liaison between Swisslog customer support and Radwell International

• Perform an audit on incorrect inventory as discovered.

• Make changes to existing inventory upon completion of inventory audit

• Cycle count inventory in regular intervals to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Resolve inventory discrepancies discovered as a result of cycle counting.

• Perform or delegate bin maintenance and cycle count tasks as needed.

• Support and mentor the development of technical and non technical staff

• May be modified from time to time; Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned

• Assist in troubleshooting and delegating Autostore process issues to the appropriate employee for resolution.

• Strong technical skills in a wide range of industrial electronic parts and components used in industrial automation.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot a wide range of industrial products
• Strong computer proficiency especially in systems and functions used to manage the Autostore and associated processes
• Ability to work at fast pace
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving abilities
• Good communication skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and/or extensive equivalent experience with appropriate industrial automation
• Technical or Industrial product knowledge and training

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
• Frequent walking
• Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
• Lifting requirements include continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds, occasional handling up to 100 pounds
• Some time spent on computer researching part numbers.

Required Skills Required Experience

REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION

•  Related Associates (or a relevant current industry license or certification) AND 4000 occupational/industry hours within 7 years

• OR Bachelor's or Master's with 18 discipline related credits AND 2000 occupational/industry hours within 7 years

• OR Certified professional (Autodesk, ADDA organizations)

RELATED DEGREE, CREDENTIAL, AND/OR OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN:  Architectural Engineering, Architecture (design, drafting), Engineering, Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science (Engineering), Construction, Construction Management, Building Science, CAD, Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, Multimedia Graphic Design
