    Job Description

    Your Career

The Worldwide Data Analyst is a member of the MSSP Program Team responsible for high-impact, data-driven leadership role that translates complex operational, financial, and partner data into actionable insights that guide global strategy. This individual owns the analytical and systems backbone of Palo Alto Networks’ Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) program—integrating data, automation, and business outcomes across IT, Finance, Revenue Operations (RevOps), and Global Enablement. The ideal candidate is both a data strategist and systems architect—skilled at building executive dashboards, optimizing global reporting frameworks, and ensuring every decision is grounded in data.

    Your Impact

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver predictive insights, executive dashboards, and analytics that inform partner growth, profitability, and strategic investment decisions.

    • Ensure data accuracy and compliance through strong governance frameworks and reporting consistency across global systems.

    • Synthesize diverse financial, operational, and partner data sources into actionable insights that enable confident decision-making at all levels of the organization.

    • Deliver concise, compelling dashboards, business cases, and strategic materials for executive audiences that drive measurable business outcomes.

    • Design and operationalize global MSSP program aligned with the NextWave Partner Program strategy.

    • Serve as the business owner for all IT development, integrations, enhancements, and Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) for MSSP systems and analytics tools.

    • Lead automation and process efficiency initiatives across CPQ, deal registration, and incentive tracking workflows.

    • Collaborate with IT, Product, Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations (RevOps), Global Customer Success, and Learning & Enablement to define standardized success metrics and reporting models.

    Data Strategy & Intelligence Leadership

    • Architect and maintain a global MSSP data intelligence framework to unify financial, operational, and partner performance metrics.

    • Develop predictive models and advanced visualization dashboards to surface trends in partner consumption, renewals, and revenue velocity.

    • Translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations that drive growth and efficiency.

    • Correlate performance and financial data to optimize incentive investments, enablement initiatives, and program design decisions.

    Strategic & Analytical Impact

    • Apply first-principles thinking and a hypothesis-driven approach to deconstruct complex challenges and design pragmatic, high-impact solutions that advance MSSP business priorities.

    • Champion innovation and continuous improvement by driving AI-enabled initiatives that streamline processes, enhance automation, and unlock new sources of value.

    • Partner across functions to align priorities, influence without direct authority, and accelerate strategic initiatives with precision and accountability.

    Cross-Functional Program Leadership

    • Act as the primary program interface and project manager across IT, Finance, Revenue Operations (RevOps), Global Learning & Enablement, and Incentive Program teams.

    • Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to align systems, enablement, and reporting infrastructure with MSSP strategic objectives.

    • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure consistent and measurable execution of global initiatives.

Program Performance Management & Executive Support

    • Own MSSP program performance, compliance, and continuous improvement aligned to global objectives.

    • Manage IT initiatives and Learning & Enablement projects, ensuring integration of new tools, data sources, and reporting capabilities.

    • Collaborate with RevOps and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, attribution, and revenue reporting across the MSSP business.

    • Support executive business reviews (QBRs) and ad-hoc data analyses with clear visual narratives and data storytelling.

    Incentive and Financial Analysis

    • Own the global MSSP discount and rebate analysis process, ensuring financial alignment and profitability.

    • Lead design, management, and optimization of partner incentive programs to drive adoption and consumption of Palo Alto Networks platforms.

    • Collaborate with Finance, RevOps, and Partner Operations to evaluate incentive ROI and recommend data-driven improvements.

    • Monitor incentive and rebate performance to prepare executive-level analyses of growth impact and partner success metrics.

    • Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to interpret complex data into executive-level insights.

    • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities in cross-functional environments.
