Job Title: Wormtown Prep Cook Status: Full Time or Part Time Reports to: Kitchen Manager Salary: $18/hr - $20/hr
JOB DESCRIPTION & EXPECTATIONS
Wormtown Brewery’s newly renovated taproom on Shrewsbury Street is launching a brand-new kitchen program, and we’re looking for a Prep Cook to help bring it to life!
This is a great opportunity to jump into a fun, fast-moving kitchen and be part of something new from the ground up. As a Prep Cook, you’ll support daily prep, keep the kitchen organized, and help set the team up for smooth, successful service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and quality standards
Work efficiently and consistently during service
Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Set up and break down workstations
Assist with inventory, labeling, and FIFO rotation
Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership and team
Support the kitchen during busy service periods
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18+ years of age.
No prior experience required — we will train!
Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused during high-volume shifts.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to jump in where needed.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in hot, fast-paced environments.
Night, weekend, and holiday availability required.
Reliable transportation to and from the taproom.
