    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Worship Leader (Westminster) is responsible for leading worship and fostering a culture of growth, excellence, and spiritual development among the worship team members at the BRAVE Church Westminster campus. This role works in close partnership with the Lead Worship Pastor to plan, execute, and sustain a high standard of worship across all services and live-streamed events. Key responsibilities include shepherding worship teams, overseeing rehearsals, managing scheduling, and organizing all elements of service planning.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead worship for the services of BRAVE, as well as staff prayer events.
    • Assist in the planning and implementation of the music, including special attention to the theology of song lyrics.
    • Assist in the training and coordination of BRAVE Worship vocal/band teams.
    • Assist the Lead Worship Pastor with department planning and implementation of department projects, and assist in achieving weekly goals.
    • Host open auditions for worship team expansion.
    • Assist in the care of the BRAVE Worship Team.
    • Participate and help accomplish major worship projects and department goals.
    • Train, coordinate, and schedule the vocal teams at the designated campus.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Minimum of 3 years of worship leading in a local church
    • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
    • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to learn and use RockRMS software.
    • Ability to learn and use Planning Center Online software
    • Proficiency in voice and piano or guitar.
    • Ability to create, coordinate, and lead a worship experience with a team.
    • Ability to recognize, recruit, and develop top talent for worship team expansion.
