    SHIFT IS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, 7PM - 7AM

    POSITION SUMMARY:  Assists the residents, visitors, and employees by providing services necessary to ensure a friendly, efficient and safe environment, and performs all other duties as directed by your supervisor.  Helps maintain the cleanliness, safety and maintenance of the building and the Common Areas, both inside and outside. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, determined by management, in order to meet the needs of the Association.

    DUTIES AND SKILLS:

    • Meets, greets, announces and verifies authorization of all residents, visitors, and employees, directing them to the appropriate area of the building and offers any assistance if required.

    • Answers all incoming telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette. “Good evening. Thank you for calling The Centrum.   This is ____, how may I assist you?”

    • Receives messages and immediately distributes to the intended party.

    • Maintain a Lobby and Front Drive awareness at all times.

    • Walk out to greet all arriving guests or residents, get the doors, please say, “Welcome to The Broadway” and offer to help with any packages.

    • Please smile and show enthusiasm when dealing with guests and residents.

    • Take the time to open both building entrance doors before tending the car.  Have guests check in at the front desk to get clearance.

    • Encourage all arrivals to use the valet service.  If insistent, guests can park in the spaces available in the Retail garage.  All residents must park in their assigned spaces.

    • You must tag and give a claim ticket to all valet cars – even if they are only in the building in and out for a short time.

    • Resident Vehicle Keys are to be stored only in the key storage cabinet behind the Manager's station.  Guest Vehicle Keys are to be stored behind the manager's station. If Residents or guests are in or out please refrain from holding keys in pockets or leaving them on the desk tops.

    • There are carts available for your use if you are asked to transport packages, groceries or other items to the resident's units.

    • Valet staff is responsible for periodically checking and dispersing the correct number of carts.

    • Always check for any unhung keys, radio, gate or security passes before you leave at the end of your shift.  You may not leave your shift if all items are not returned.

    • Please wait for your relief person before leaving your shift. 

    • Understands and follows all employee guidelines.

    • Assist other department and Team Members when time is allowed without conflicting with the above duties.

    • Do not sit at the Concierge/Valet Desk during the entire shift.   Have an active and physical presence in the lobby.   Sit as needed.

    • Directs and coordinates all deliveries.

    • Maintains and monitors all security and shift log.

    • Monitors and enforces safety procedures and report any R&R violations.

    • Maintains secure storage and control of all security devices and keys.  

    • Assists with maintaining the cleaning standards of the Common Areas, especially the Lobby and Porte cochere.

    • Provide courteous directions to lost visitors and contractors.

    • Maintains a clean, neat and professional appearance.

    • Wears the proper uniform while on duty.

    • Maintains a neat, organized, clean and safe work environment.

    • Understands the building safety procedures and their individual role in maintaining a safe environment.

    • Understands the building emergency procedures and your role in an emergencysituation and perform all physical related exercises to assist in evacuating the building.

    • Reports any accident, and safety or security concern by Building Link Incident Report.  Contact GM in the event of Fire, Flood, or Blood scenario.

    • Understands and follows The Centrum employee guidelines.

    • Maintains a cordial and respectful relationship with the residents, visitors, and fellow employees.

    • Deliver all Newspapers as requested

    • Turn off all TVs in Fitness Center and adjust lighting and temperature.

    • Complete a Nightly Key Audit for the Homeowners and Back of House key.   

    • Perform inspection of Common Areas throughout your shift and issue Service Tickets as needed for Common Area or for Residents.

    • Include WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY on all Shift Notes, Incident Reports and Service Tickets.  Details matters, include as much information possible when passing information along.

    • Update Resident “FD Notes” as needed in the Daily Activity Log and perform Package inventory (Audit) at the end of your shift.

    • Complete “Pass Down” list from prior shift

    • Complete Shift Check List and report any concerns to relieving Concierge/Valet.

    • Perform daily light checks and issue a Service Ticket for any bulbs that are not burning.

    • On the Weekends, maintain the lobby restroom to ensure cleanliness and proper supplies.

    PREREQUISITES:

    EDUCATION:  Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.

    PHYSICAL:  Requires writing, standing, sitting, climbing, walking, repetitive motions, listening ability, visual acuity and good speaking skills.
