DUTIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide support to maintain operation of CIP systems and housekeeping functions
- Provide support for product and environmental pathogen prevention monitoring.
- Analyze plant chemical requirements
- Provide support to the plants on food safety initiatives
- Provide direction and support direct reports
- Troubleshoot sanitation and quality issues. Identify and implement necessary and appropriate corrective measures.
- Trouble-shoot and lead problem-solving efforts through the facilitation of team meetings and on-the-floor leadership to effectively change systems and procedures through the process of continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with chemical suppliers in order to maintain optimum external support of the facilities.
- Work with EH&S Manager to provide awareness and training on new chemicals, processes and handling procedures as required
- Work cross-functionally with all Operations departments to plan, develop, and maintain Cacique’s environmental health program of basic health sanitation and food safety.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Required Experience
EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years management experience in food manufacturing or processing, preferably dairy manufacturing with emphasis on sanitation.
