Wound Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

Job Summary:

A growing healthcare organization is seeking skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to provide advanced wound care services to patients in Richmond, Virginia. This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to patient residences, skilled nursing facilities, and other care settings to deliver advanced wound care.
• Conduct assessments, make informed diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans.
• Perform wound care procedures, such as debridements and the application of advanced technology.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Build trust and compassion with patients while delivering exceptional services.

Requirements:

• Active and valid APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Board certification required.
• Willingness to travel extended distances within the Richmond, VA area.
• Commitment to high-quality wound care.

Position Details:

• Role: Independent Contractor (1099)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, no nights, weekends, or on-call shifts.
• Patient Load: 30–35 patients per week (7–9 per day).
• Training: 3 weeks (virtual and in-person).

Compensation:

• Entry Level (0–2 years): $90,250–$104,500
• Mid-Level (3–5 years): $114,000–$142,500 (+$10,000 with Wound Certification)
• Senior Level (6+ years): $142,500–$161,500 (+$15,000 with Wound Certification)
