Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to private residences, skilled nursing facilities, adult care homes, and similar settings to provide comprehensive wound care.
- Assess patients, reach informed diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans based on clinical knowledge and patient history.
- Perform wound care procedures, including debridement, application of biologic patches, and use of advanced wound care technology.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other advanced wound care providers as part of a high-performing clinical team.
- Foster a climate of trust, compassion, and dignity for each patient.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel throughout the Central Austin, TX area.
- Active and unrestricted APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Board certification required.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered wound care.
- Willingness to travel out-of-state for initial training.
- DEA not required.
Position Details:
- Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Full-Time, 40 hours/week)
- Patient Load: Up to 30–35 patients per week (7–9 per day)
Compensation:
Entry Level (0–2 years): $1,826–$2,115/week
Mid-Level (3–5 years): $2,307–$2,884/week
Senior Level (6+ years): $2,884–$3,269/week
Estimated annual earnings up to $160,000, depending on experience, hours, and services provided
Monthly productivity bonuses available for full-time providers
Note: As a 1099 contractor, benefits are not provided.
Training Provided:
3-week onboarding program:
Week 1: Virtual orientation and EMR training
Weeks 2 & 3: In-person training with a clinical trainer (travel required)
