    Wound Care Nurse Practitioner

    (Startup | Program Development | Private Practice with Hospital Privileges)

    We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated clinician with a passion for wound care and an interest in program development, service line growth, and clinical leadership within a startup or private practice setting. Hospital privileges will be supported as part of this role.

    Responsibilities

    Provide comprehensive wound care services to patients with acute and chronic wounds

    Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans

    Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as clinically indicated

    Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare partners to coordinate care

    Participate in the development, launch, and growth of wound care programs and services

    Support business and clinical workflow development in a startup/private practice environment

    Educate patients and families on wound management, prevention, and overall health maintenance

    Facilitate referrals to hospitals, specialists, and other healthcare providers

    Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely medical documentation

    Provide education, emotional support, and guidance to patients and caregivers

    Qualifications

    Current Nurse Practitioner licensure (state-specific requirements apply)

    Previous experience in a wound clinic or dedicated wound care environment required

    Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) preferred

    Demonstrated interest or experience in program development, service line growth, or business planning

    Ability to contribute to or lead startup initiatives and clinical program launches

    Familiarity with EHR systems, wound care technologies, and medical equipment

    Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving practice environment
