Job Title: Wound Care Nurse (LPN/RN Preferred) – Contract (1099)

Location: Birmingham Alabama

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Wound Care Nurse (LPN or RN preferred) to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a flexible 1099 position ideal for clinicians experienced in basic wound management and looking for per-patient compensation.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic wound care and dressing changes

Utilize UltraMIST therapy as indicated

Assess and document wound progress accurately

Follow established treatment protocols and infection control standards

Communicate effectively with supervising providers and care team

Requirements:

Active LPN or RN license (preferred)

Experience in wound care strongly preferred but willing to train

Familiarity with UltraMIST or willingness to learn

Reliable transportation

Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills

Compensation:

$50 per patient
