Position Overview: BrightStar Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care & Vaccination Nurse (RN or LVN) to join our team in the Athens, Mabank, and Terrell areas. This role focuses on providing high-quality wound care services and administering vaccinations while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and education.

Responsibilities:

Perform wound assessments and provide appropriate wound care treatment

Administer vaccinations in accordance with physician orders and state guidelines

Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment

Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and post-vaccination care

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times

Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, and caregivers

Requirements:

Active RN or LVN license in the state of Texas

Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience (wound care experience preferred)

Experience with vaccinations/immunizations preferred

Strong assessment and documentation skills

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Athens, Mabank, and Terrell

Current TB test required (company paid)

CPR certification required (not company paid)

Schedule:
