Woven is a luxury rug company with a showroom in the New York Design Center. We are currently looking for a Showroom (Operations) Supervisor for our NYC showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and assist with all day to day operations at the showroom including inventory management, logistics/shipping and receiving of rugs, physically moving and handling rugs with the team, and the white glove delivery service to clients
· Provide feedback to Director of Operations on process improvements for dedicated location
· Provide strong guidance to accelerate the development of all team members, which includes Rug Handlers
· Oversee showroom maintenance
· Oversee supply inventory and place all supply orders
· Oversee rug repair and cleaning
· Assist sales team with all client viewings and appointments
Job Skills and Classifications:
· 5 plus years of experience leading and developing high-performance teams
· Experience in a retail environment preferred
· Hands-on leadership style
· Strategic and developmental mindset
· Strong technical aptitude and understanding of technologies and digital tools
· Familiarity with inventory management systems and POS systems
· G suite and MS Office skills
· Must be able to hear and speak effectively in English
· Must be physically able to assist with rug handling, which includes bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
