Woven is a luxury rug company based in the Los Angeles area. This role will directly report to the Production Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue purchase orders for stock inventory, custom orders, and wholesale orders
• Ship reference samples, color poms, and necessary materials to vendors
• Communicate daily with network of overseas vendors to track production progress and ensure on-time deliveries

• Collaborate with technical designer and sales team on custom requests
• Update internal tracking system with critical milestone update for each order
• Utilize internal weekly reports to track order progress
• Track custom orders and communicate updates to sales staff, alerting the head of production for potential delays and production issues

• Manage sales inquiries and coordinate with outside vendors to resolve defects when needed
• Receive inbound development and strike off samples
• Oversee inspections stateside inspection performed at off-site warehouse
• Review strike-offs to confirm they meet visual and technical expectations
• Manage library of development, marketing, and master samples at LA showroom and off-site warehouse
• Assist with production projects as needed

Job Skills and Classifications:

• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including email communication
• Familiarity working in textile production and with overseas vendors preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel) and Google Suite (emphasis on Sheets)
• Basic retail math (experience working with multiple units of measure)
• Pro-active problem solver with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in fast paced environment, wear multiple hats, and take a strong initiative
• 1-2 years of experience in production or a fast-paced administrative support role in a relevant industry (fashion, textiles, furniture)
