Wright Worldwide Inc is looking to staff both armed and unarmed guard positions at a Historic Church in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area. These are various shifts and hours to accomodate activities at the ministry through-out the week and on Sundays. Duties consist of patroling the parking lots in a golf cart, and providing coverage within the sanctuary. For example, a weekday shift may consist of 9a-1p, an evening shift may consist of 5:30p-9:30p a Saturday shift may consist of daytime or evening hours or coverage for funerals. Officers will perform access control to the property, document incidents, use handheld software to document security, maintenance and parking issues, as well as interact with staff, management, residents, and local law enforcement. Qualified individuals with supervisory experience may be considered at a higher rate. You must be able to work both day and nights shifts, as well as weekends. This job requires you to possess a black, navy or gray, conservative suit, tactical gear, and requires you to be flexible. Armed positions start at $21.50 an hour, unarmed positions start at $15.00 an hour.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or in a similar environment.
Must be comfortable working in a church environment.
Dependability is a must.
Must have at least 2 years continuious employment in an armed capacitiy.
Familiarity with security equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong attention to detail
Company uniform will be provided.
Must have clean driving record, for insurance purposes, to operate company vehicle.
First aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
