    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Our San Francisco office is seeking a part-time administrative assistant. This position is a good fit for someone who is detailed oriented and enjoys learning new skills. We offer a great opportunity for mentor-ship and honing of the skills and experience needed for career advancement related to accounting and tax. The candidate must be diligent, analytical and can work with limited supervision. We expect you to be reliable, with strong organizational skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Produces a variety of materials including but not limited to financial statements, letters, memoranda, interoffice communications, confidential presentations, and other reports
    • Performs administrative tasks including but not limited to, scheduling, filing, copying, and scanning of documents
    • Manages and sorts mails with attention to due dates and actions required
    • Prepares invoices and monitors outstanding receivables
    • Maintain vendor invoices and monitor payment due dates
    • Maintain staff expense reporting, calendar, and scheduling,
    • Processes, assembles and sends tax returns and financial statements to clients
    • Greets candidates and clients, answers telephones, take messages, and responds to general questions regarding the work of the department
    • Coordinates international and domestic travel arrangements, including but not limited to travel itineraries, agendas, documentation for foreign travel, and expense reports
    • Attends meetings and conferences, as required, and takes meeting notes; assists in conference and meeting management
    • Prioritizes and works independently or with minimal supervision
    • Order and maintain office supplies
    • Other duties as required; may include but are not limited to assisting the Partners with a variety of administrative tasks

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Previous experience as an office administrative staff
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
    • Highly developed organization and planning skills with strong attention to detail
    • Ability to meet deadlines while multitasking
    • Ability to work independently
    • Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities
    • Professional demeanor and proper phone/e-mail etiquette
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
    • Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, a plus
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is are pluses
