    The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the overall management of dealer and direct sales activity in their assigned region. The Regional Sales Manager will have the ability, within reason, to identify those customers, dealers and integrators that they want to work with. They will be responsible for all levels of customer service leading up to the order. Once orders are placed, it is the Regional Sales Managers responsibility to clearly communicate the project expectations to their Sales Support Manager. This position will play a key role in helping the efforts of the marketing department to brand Cubic Designs. This could some specific projects or markets that will be targeted in your region and you will need to work closely with marketing to make sure our brand presentation is consistent.

    _THE CANDIDATE WHO FILLS THIS ROLE WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESIDE IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL TERRITORY, OR ABILITY TO RELOCATE.  THE SOUTH CENTRAL TERRITORY INCLUDES TX, OK, AR, MS, LA MANAGING BOTH EXISTING CLIENTS AND ESTABLISHING NEW PROSPECTIVE BUSINESS. _

     

    Required Skills

    Essential Functions Statement(s)

    • Work with the Director of Sales to help establish sales goals and plans to achieve those goals.  
    • Identify target customers (dealers, end users, OEM's, GC's, integrators) in the assigned Region.  
    • Need to be proficient at quoting, field measurements, project flow and lead/customer updates.  
    • Clearly communicate your sales targets to dealers.  
    • Look for new/innovative ways to go to market - new products, new tactics, etc.  
    • Support marketing efforts by sharing any voice of customer feedback related to their efforts.
    • Travel within region to meet with prospective and current customers. Time in front of prospects could approximate up to 60% of work time/activities.  
    • Contribute to the team by completing tasks in a timely manner.  
    • Continue professional growth through trade associations, strategic partnerships and continuing education.  
    • Any other duties as assigned.

      

     

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

     EDUCATION: 

    • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required  Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Engineering

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 5 plus years of experience in related sales activities. 
    • Must have solid PC experience in Windows' environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled COMPUTER SKILLS:        applications, and basic AutoCAD
    • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to deal with partners and customers regarding problems/issues and accolades.
    • Personal and professional confidence and appearance.
    • Cubic Designs' product knowledge.
    • Ability to work unsupervised - needs to be a self-starter.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Ability to use time productively, scheduling travel/time to maximize business hours and sales trips.
    • Flexibility to travel throughout assigned region.
