APPLICATION SCIENTIST

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Wyatt Technology seeks to add a key member to its field sales and support team. This position is based in a home office in the San Diego, CA area. You will be interacting daily with Wyatt headquarters and customers performing installations, training, preparing sample Analysis Reports and, “pro-active” visits to regional customers to make sure they are completely satisfied with their Wyatt instruments. Up to 75% of your time will be spent in the field, with a regional focus on travel in the Southwest but may also include other regions of the country when called upon.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and an excellent familiarity with basic lab techniques, instrumentation and software. Experience with HPLC and Wyatt instruments would be preferred. To be a qualified candidate, you must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or other related field or a Master's or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
