    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    As a key member of the Customer Service team, the Product Service Technician will join a team of talented and skilled technicians to perform instrument maintenance and/or repair, maintain and update related service records, and contribute to department success by making recommendations to Product Service procedures and related documentation. The technician will also assist R&D and Manufacturing departments as needed and directed by Manager.

    Ideal candidate for this opportunity should have a technical degree or five (5) years equivalent work experience in a manufacturing or instrument service/repair environment.  Experience with troubleshooting techniques and methods for electro-mechanical instruments is highly preferred. Must have the ability to read, understand and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematic diagrams and specifications..  Experience with lab instrumentation and standard lab practices a plus.  Candidate must have good written and verbal communications as well as basic computer skills (MS Windows, Word and Excel).  The ability to lift up to 60 lbs. is required.
