This is a fantastic sales position in a growing company in the managed IT services and security industry. We are seeking an MSP Sales Representative to join their team! This person is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account. They must generate and secure new sales revenue by prospecting and adding customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the MSP business model and a proven track record in managing and growing a profitable MSP portfolio.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Design an action plan to create new business and build client relationships successfully
- Responsible for achieving company sales targets and utilizing CRM tools for automated reporting back to management—weekly meetings to discuss strategy execution effectiveness and desired modifications.
- Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of the company in the community
- Responsible for the development of business proposals and presentations
- Regularly attend client meetings and networking events
- Integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (promotions, advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, social media marketing, etc.)
- Ability to work evenings when required for networking events
- Ability to travel occasionally if necessary
Outside Sales Representative Requirements:
- 2+ Years of industry experience and sales experience in Managed Services, IT consulting sales or any related IT field.
- Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative, and work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines and understand priorities
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Proven ability to create new business and client relationships is a must
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
