Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is recruiting a Project Manager for SERVPRO of Peoria, located in Pekin, IL. SERVPRO of Peoria specializes in the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial property after a fire, smoke or water damage. The Project Manager is responsible for providing oversight and management of the project cycle by providing direction and coordination of all field activities related to the installation teams and any coordinated subcontracts; estimating the loss and reconstruction of the entire project through the use of Xactimate; managing the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle; and securing any unique materials, permits and/or equipment required to complete the project. This person will need to be able to make the customer comfortable that their structure is going to be handled with the best care.

Responsibilities:

• Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial restoration projects
• Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors
• Attend all appropriate company meetings
• Inspect properties for water damage and develop a drying plan which includes the setup of drying equipment, monitoring temperature, relative humidity and specific humidity.
• Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize proprietary software if required
• Maintain a clean assigned vehicle
• Maintain professional and courteous vendor/ sub-contractor relations
• Participates in on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency response
• Establish and maintain excellent client relationships
• Additional duties required as needed

Requirements:

• 3-5 plus years’ experience in restoration and/or construction-based industries
• 1 plus years’ experience as a project manager/ estimator, preferably in the restoration industry
• Industry certifications are a plus
• Xactimate experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to communicate with a variety of customers and different personalities
• Professional image as a representative of the company
• Must be able to pass background check and have a clean driving record
