Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the floor covering industry, is hiring a WINDOW COVERING SALES/ DESIGN ASSOCIATE for Floorcraft, located in San Francisco, CA. This family owned, and operated company has been San Francisco’s premier home improvement center for over 40 years. They are looking for an individual who will take the role of overseeing the growth and success of the department. The Designers in the sales department are responsible for managing the lifecycle of the client projects from appointment to final install. This team is directly responsible for the success of the company as well as providing excellent customer service to the clientele. You will work directly with the customer service and installation teams to provide a seamless experience for the clients in a proactive, on target, and positive manner! This person will also be crossed trained in the flooring division.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide exceptional customer services by helping with their window covering design needs

• Demonstrate knowledge of our Custom Window Coverings products, fabrics, hardware’s to interested buyers.

• Perform measurement and installation appointments for our custom window treatment solutions

• Manage the customer experience through the entire order cycle

• Build a customer database through lead generation, prospecting, networking as well as building relationships with existing customers and referrals

• Take a leadership role in overseeing the growth and success of the department thru training, merchandising and mentoring others

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years previous experience working in retail sales role, preferably in some aspect of home improvement
• Basic computer skills, including in-depth internet knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and database applications
• Proven, successful sales track record
• Ability to maintain a quality and service-oriented attitude
• Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative
• Ability to meet deadlines and understand priorities
• Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a must
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
