    Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is hiring a Commercial Business Development Representative for a regional restoration company with 8 locations and a National Catastrophe Response Team. This person will cover the Columbus territory.

      The Commercial Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing business relationships through end users, risk managers, adjusters, property managers as well as other sources. Ultimately the representative’s primary responsibility is driving profitable revenue growth. Mammoth Business Development Representatives devote at least 90% of their time to field sales activities. best made outside the four walls of the organization and is coachable.

      Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement the territory sales plan to target clients (referral sources) for growth, in line with the company vision, mission and values
    • Develop target lists in selected segments that match our value proposition and maximize growth potential in a sales territory
    • Develop relationships while building trust and credibility with potential and existing referral sources
    • Continue prospecting; cold calling, following-up on leads and referrals & contacting new offices and personnel of existing customers

      Manage client inquiries and provide customer service in a manner to minimize account attrition and reduction in referrals

    • Set up and attend appointments; meet clients after business hours, when necessary
    • Follow up on all sales activity through telephone, written and personal contact and customer billing procedures
    • Analyze current customer base, local market & economic conditions, and primary competitors
    • Meet sales and performance goals
    • Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis and follow-up
    • Actively participate in all team calls/meetings and training
    • Support vendor programs
    • Develop and maintain accurate & complete customer files, to enable easy tracking of account progress
    • Ensure total compliance with all company policies and values and government regulations
    • Manage expenses to maximize return on investment/spend money like it's your own
    • Complete all administrative tasks (such as CRM log notes) on time with high quality and accuracy
    • Maintain knowledge of Mammoth operations and the mitigation, restoration and repair industry
    • Analyze the utilization of our CRM and other data tools to develop and execute action plans to increase referrals

       

       

      Requirements:

    • Commercial sales experience required
    • Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience, preferably selling a service
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Excellent sales and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Exchange, Google)
    • Willingness to work flexible hours as required by the position
    • Initiative in solving problems
    • Marketing and customer service experience
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Professional appearance and decorum
    • Valid driver’s license
