LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE: We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor - Room Inspector who can motivate and inspire their housekeeping staff to take pride in their work and provide the best possible Guest Service Satisfaction to our Guests. Candidate must be able to train their staff and guide them daily as well as work cohesively with all departments. Responsibilities: • Able to perform all housekeeping duties including cleaning rooms, house attendant duties, taking inventory • Train all new hires in cleaning rooms properly and proper usage of cleaning supplies • Supervise housekeepers and laundry to get work done in a timely manner • Provide daily boards for housekeepers • Inspect rooms after cleaning. Follow through with housekeepers to correct any issues • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner • Inform maintenance of necessary work orders • Communicate room status changes to the front desk and/or enter clean/dirty vacant rooms into the system • Carry out all reasonable requests which you are capable of performing • Ensure effective departmental communication and information systems through logs, department meetings, and hotel meetings Qualifications: • Must be able to communicate effectively and attend to guests' needs • Must have at least two years of hotel housekeeping experience • Must have at least two years of supervisory experience • Dependable • Must have reliable transportation • Able to work with all departments effectively • Leadership skills to guide and train staff • Our staff takes responsibility for their actions and decisions Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly
