LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE: Seeking maintenance technician to join our current team. Must have knowledge and skills in all maintenance areas and be able to work independently. The ideal candidate can work as a team and put our Guests as their top priority. This is a Barter Position requiring the candidate to live on-site working 30 hours for their room, the balance of hours to be paid. Responsibilities: • Basic maintenance of the hotel including all common areas as well as Guest Rooms • Routine Repairs • Carpentry • Painting and drywall • Plumbing repairs i.e. fixtures, sinks, faucets, tubs, caulking, leaks, toilets • Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, and lighting systems and make minor repairs and/or replacement • Maintain the exterior and "curb appeal" as required • Outside building painting • Pool Maintenance (when needed) • Custodial Duties including trash pickup throughout the property • Change door locks • Setting up event space with tables and chairs • Effectively communicate with Guests as well as all departments to coordinate work orders • Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and Corporate Office Qualifications: • Knowledge of basic plumbing • Knowledge of basic electrical • Knowledge of flooring • Painting and sheetrock • Experience with general maintenance tools and repairs • Troubleshooting ability • Able to take direction from the Maintenance Supervisor and provide daily logs of work each day • Must live on the property working 30 hours for the room, balance of hours are paid hours Compensation: $9 - $10 hourly
