  • Responsibilities

    Wyndham Brand Hotel seeking a "hands on" General Manager with a proven track record for increasing daily revenue. The candidate must be assertive and able to motivate and inspire their staff and lead by example to provide to best possible Guest Service Satisfaction to our Guests. Responsibilities: • Run all aspects of the daily operations of the hotel as a "hands-on" Manager leading your staff on a daily basis • Dealing directly with our guests to achieve the highest level of Guest Service Satisfaction • Supervise all departments including Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Front Desk • Working on a daily basis with Housekeeping Supervisor inspecting rooms • Handling housekeeping cost control with Housekeeping Supervisor • Prepare and Pass QA inspections • Process daily, weekly and monthly reports directly for Hotel Owner and Corporate Office • Control spending and expenses/control ordering of hotel supplies • Forward all invoices and receipts to the corporate office for payment and accounting purposes • Sales and Marketing including internet-based promotions and advertising • Respond to guest complaints • Must have a strong focus to bring in and handle all guest room blocks with past clients as well as efforts to bring in new business Qualifications: • Must have a MINIMUM of 3-5 years of Hotel Management experience • Synexis experience required • Proven track record as a successful leader showing results of profits in sales and hotel operations • MUST be a "hands-on" GM working directly to supervise all departments • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • Must be able to work with Corporate Office and any other Management Staff accepting guidance and training • Must have previous experience in a Manager role overseeing and leading a team in a hospitality role • Wyndham brand experience preferred but not required • Candidate can either live on the property or live locally Compensation: $40,000 - $55,000 yearly
