Job Description

Overview: This position provides beverage service to Wynn Golf Club guests during play.

Responsibilities:

• Provides excellent guest service welcoming all golfers encountered and assisting golfers with any questions/concerns.
• Follows all policies, procedures, and Wynn service standards.
• Drives food and beverage cart around designated areas to offer beverage service to guests.
• Provides service to guests to include explaining product, securing payment, and other needs as required.
• Maximizes sales by utilizing menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensures established standards of beverage service are met.
• Properly operates golf course equipment in accordance with state and local laws in order to deliver goods.
• Ensures all equipment is kept clean, orderly and accurately maintains stock and inventory records.
• Responsible for collecting accurate payment from the guest and ensures accurate cash handling of sales.
• Provides accurate information about our resort and its amenities.
• Communicate effectively with other team members in order to ensure the highest standards of service are upheld for all guests and maintain day-to-day operations of the department.
• Maintains appearance and uniform standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1-year of food and beverage experience, and experience at a high-volume luxury resort is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Must maintain excellent knowledge of the resort, outlets, & amenities.
• Computer experience and POS experience is preferred.
• Maintains all required licenses.
• Must possess excellent knowledge of food, wine, liquor, beer.
• Knowledge of golf and golf course etiquette is preferred.
• Must be able to stand/sit/walk for approximately 8 hours, lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds, work outdoors with exposure to various types of weather including sun exposure and heat for up to 8-hour shift
• Must possess valid drivers’ license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, & holidays.
