Job Description

Wynn Design & Development (WDD) is responsible for creating the designs that are known as the Wynn “look”. WDD encompasses: Construction, Design, Warehouse and Architecture.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and design buildings, such as hospitality/hotel casino, residential towers, theaters, office buildings, and other complex buildings.
• Prepares information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, and equipment.
• Plans layout of project.
• Integrates engineering element into unified design.
• Prepares scale drawings.
• Prepares contract documents for building contractors.
• Directs activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
• Conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• Develop architectural scope of work depicting project requirements.
• Prepare presentation documents for the clients review; supervision of staff and management of multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in architecture or a minimum of (8) eight years of architectural experience of which (1) one year is involved with developing and coordinating construction projects.
• Must have proven experience with developing and writing specifications, working knowledge of building codes and ordinances.
• Must have good interpersonal and public relations experience working with clients to determine needs and based upon those needs.
• Must be eligible of being licensed by the Nevada State Board of Architecture and Interior Design to practice architecture in the State of Nevada.
• Any person licensed as an Architect in another state must become licensed as an Architect in Nevada within six months following the date of appointment as a condition of employment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
