    Essential Job Functions

    Recruiters are committed to providing professional and personal service through recruiting, applicant sourcing, assisting hiring manager with open positions, building strong relationships in the community, and focusing on promotional opportunities for internal applicants. All aspects of the employment process will align with our company goals and standards to help drive business performance by hiring the best possible candidate and reducing turnover percentages.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employment programs by using metrics and stakeholder feedback.
    • Facilitate Recruitment hiring events on a weekly basis as well as individual department panels as required by business demand.
    • Conduct one-on-one training sessions with new leaders in the use of the applicant tracking system.
    • Strategically sources and screens applicants for departments as assigned by division and Manager.
    • Partners with hiring managers and other employment recruiters for seasonal hiring and openings/closures of seasonal outlets. Posting and closing jobs in the applicant tracking system.
    • Conduct pre-screen interviews and set up interviews for referrals and hiring managers as requested.
    • Use various recruitment methods to obtain the most qualified candidates for current openings.
    • Creating and implementing recruiting plans for hard-to-fill positions.
    • Develop and maintain strong candidate pools for positions with a high turnover rate.
    • Attend and host job fairs, local recruiting and networking events that may be after normal business hours.
    • Create and finalize new hire paperwork, and occasionally conduct new hire offer appointments.
    • Assist current employees with job searches due to department restructures or position eliminations.
    • Perform other related duties as required.

    • Possesses strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Proficient in the "mechanics" of applicant tracking system(s); must have experience in talent acquisition platform systems.

    • Organizational skills and attention to detail are vital.
    • Adaptability to an ever changing environment and openness to growth are necessary.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, instructions, emails and other related documents.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, even in difficult situations. Fluency in English required, second language a plus.
    • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
    • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
    • Planning and project management.
    • Proficiency to advanced experience with computer systems including: Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or above in a related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.
    • Three years Human Resources experience is required.
    • Prefer a minimum of one year experience as a Recruiter, Generalist or Staffing Specialist in a high-volume environment.
    • Must be knowledgeable of government staffing regulations and terminology.
    • Knowledge using an applicant tracking system such as Brass Ring, Taleo, iCIMS or a similar system is preferred but not required.
    • Reporting Structure and Supervisory Responsibility
    • This position reports directly to the Employment Manager of Wynn Las Vegas|Encore and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
    • Age, Certifications and Work Cards:
    • 21 years of age or above
    • Nevada Gaming Registration
