Job Description

As the K9 Security Officer your role will include:

Job Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the handling, upkeep, maintenance, deployment and care of working explosives, firearms, and bed bug detection dogs, assisting Security by performing random, special event, dignitary, mailroom protection sweeps, as well as guest any special projects and additional related duties as assigned by the Senior Program Manager of K9 Operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Requires a minimum of (3) three years of experience in Security, Military, Law Enforcement, or Customer Service.
• Hotel/Casino Security experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Animal training background is preferred, but not required.
• A valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness Card are required and must be obtained before entering this position.
• American Red Cross certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer required and must be obtained before entering this position
• A valid and unrestricted Nevada Driver License
• Candidates must have proficiency with personal computers.
• Knowledge of local laws, investigative methods, and fire safety procedures is preferred.
• Exemplary attendance is required.
• Must have no active disciplines on file to be considered.
