Position: X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST

Shift Schedule: Day, Mid and Night

Location : Inglewood, CA 90301

Pay: $50-$55 PER HOUR

Position Summary:

The X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic with Fluoroscopy procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. The technologist is responsible for producing high-quality images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation safety standards. This position requires flexibility to work day, mid, and night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures as ordered by physicians

Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently

Follow radiation protection and safety standards to minimize exposure

Verify patient identification and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort

Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in EMR/RIS/PACS systems

Assist radiologists and physicians with imaging procedures as needed

Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions

Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms

Comply with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and infection control standards

Provide support in emergency/trauma situations when required

Shift Requirements:

Must be available to work day, mid, and night shifts

Weekend and holiday rotation required

On-call availability may be required

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology

Fluoroscopy permit (if required by state regulations)

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

State Radiologic Technologist license

Current BLS certification through AHA

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred (hospital experience preferred
