    Company & Position Overview

    RICAR Business Consulting LLC (RBC) is seeking a qualified X-Ray / Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to support imaging operations at a federal healthcare facility in the Portland, Oregon area. This role is essential to delivering accurate diagnostic imaging services while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position is contingent upon contract award.

    Job Description Summary

    The X-Ray / Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic examinations to assist providers in patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, patient-focused, and experienced working in a structured clinical environment with established imaging protocols.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
    • Position patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety
    • Operate radiographic equipment and related imaging systems effectively and safely
    • Verify patient identity, procedure orders, and imaging requirements prior to examinations
    • Maintain accurate documentation and image records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
    • Adhere to radiation safety principles, infection control policies, and quality assurance requirements
    • Communicate effectively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare staff
    • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or image quality concerns promptly

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of two years of recent experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic or X-Ray Technologist
    • Experience performing routine diagnostic radiography in a hospital or clinical setting

    Education & Certifications

    Required:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
    • ARRT certification in Radiography
    • Active Oregon state licensure, if required
    • Current BLS certification

    Preferred:

    • Experience supporting federal or VA healthcare facilities
    • Additional modality experience is a plus

    Work Location & Arrangement

    • On-site position at a federal healthcare facility in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
    • This role is not remote or hybrid

    Schedule & Position Type

    • Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available based on operational needs
    • W-2 position
    • Work schedules may include weekdays and rotating shifts depending on facility requirements

    Compensation Range

    • Hourly Rate: $28.00 – $60.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
    • Estimated Annual Equivalent: Approximately $58,200 – $124,800 (based on full-time hours)
