Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled and experienced X-Ray Repair Technician with a strong background in electronics and proficiency in using meters to diagnose and repair X-ray equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing X-ray machines to ensure optimal functionality and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of electronic systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of X-ray theory and principles
• Interpret and analyze schematics to diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical components of X-ray systems
• Conduct diagnostic tests on X-ray equipment using specialized tools and meters
• Identify and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical issues to determine the root cause of malfunctions
• Perform repairs and maintenance on X-ray machines, including replacing faulty components and ensuring proper calibration
• Possess a deep understanding of electronic systems, circuits, and components relevant to X-ray equipment
• Develop electronic circuits and schematics tailored to specific requirements, optimizing performance and efficiency
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities
• Document the diagnostic process and the steps taken to resolve issues

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in X-ray equipment repair or electronics
• Experience in designing electronic circuits and schematics, with a solid understanding of analog and digital electronics principles
• Proven experience as an X-Ray Repair Technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of X-ray systems and their electronic components
• Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment and meters
• Familiarity with X-ray machine software and firmware
