We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.

Duties

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnostic purposes.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff in emergency medicine situations, providing timely imaging support.
• Conduct mammography procedures when required, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Carry out diagnostic evaluations and provide clear communication regarding patient status to physicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of physiology to accurately position patients and equipment for optimal imaging results.
• Work effectively in a Level I Trauma Center or urgent care setting, responding quickly to patient needs.
• Assist in nuclear medicine scans when necessary, following established protocols for safety and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment functionality through regular inspections and basic troubleshooting.

Years of Experience: 1 year(s)

Certifications: ARRT R, BLS

Teaching Hospital Experience: Required

Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in the field of diagnostic radiology. Familiarity with various imaging techniques, including mammography and nuclear medicine, is preferred. Experience working in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or urgent care facilities will be highly regarded. A strong commitment to patient care, safety practices, and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Shift : 4X10 Days, Friday-Monday 9am-7pm

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $64.22 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
